  Learning outcomes: Since times have changed and needs, attitudes, cultural context and origins of the learners have changed too, this chapter describes who are the contemporary students and tries to explain how to meet their needs and their attitudes towards learning.

  Why is it beneficial to know that?  You will be able to explain who the contemporary students are, name their expectations and explain how to meet them. Moreover, you will be able to explain the contemporary students’ attitudes towards learning approaches and learning objects and you will know how to meet them. You will know what the feedbacks are and how to get them. Finally, you will be able to define the teaching plans and you will know how to modify them in order to meet the contemporary students’ expectations.

  Learning outcomes: The outdated “chalk and talk” method of teaching has now worse results than the innovative teaching and learning methodologies. Interaction with students is encouraged, focus on enjoyment is emphasized and the boundaries among teachers and students are being broken down. By studying this chapter, teachers should be able to remain engaging during their activities with their students by understanding how to create new lessons plans and apply new high impact methodologies..
